What a crazy year/summer it’s been! I would’ve never thought this time last year that this summer would’ve played out as it did and I think everyone in the world was shocked with what as happened with such a global pandemic crisis.
Personally this summer was exactly what I needed… It gave me the time to sit back and reflect about what I want to do I want my strengths in life are and how to put into use. I read a lot of books about psychology, marketing and self improvement which I loved and gained accident insides and understandings in these different nations. I managed to set up two businesses I was self which have turned out to be extremely successful and have also had the time to spend with my family and close friends from home again which I have not seen in such a long time. It was the longest time I have ever been at home in the last four years as usually I work abroad during the summers and then when I’m back I’m normally at university so only get the weekends are the holidays to spend some real quality time so it was amazing to finally relax at my home and get that connection with old friends again.
What made the summer even better for me was the fact that due to my successes in my business I had the chance to do a bit of travelling towards the end of summer and spent roughly 6 weeks abroad between Italy, France and Greece it was an amazing and to a lot of months of hard work and long long nights…
One thing I can say is that I am really looking forward to getting back into routine of normality at university and especially getting back into fitness once again as it was extremely hard during lockdown not having any access to gyms and found home workouts very hard in terms of motivation and just doing it. I am thinking of starting running again as I really miss It over the last few years and thought about how many awards and achievements I received while are used to run long distance and cross country a few years ago so therefore will enquire about joining the University athletic team ones back to university.
