FILM
In a recent university project we had been assigned a specific colour in which we had to make a film around the colours representation.
Brainstorming asa group we wanted to stay away from the cliche love which is associated with it so we carried out idea generation tasks to come up with the most unique relevant which resulted in ‘lust and seduction’ being the main message we tried to convey throughout our filming process.
MAKING THE FILM
We explored the beauty of natural skin through senses such as touch and smell by including sensual fragrances throughout the filming process. We experimented with different location and lighting as we attempted to keep natural light in the majority of the shots to really flaunt the beauty and lust within the short film.
The main purpose we used for the film was lingerie and minimal clothing which were colored red to stay within the brief which also signified our main message. I was in charge of lighting and co direction of the film inputting my own opinions on postures, poses and specific areas which captured natural light the best.
Overall i really enjoyed this project and bettered my skill set from filming to direction by applying creative process idea generation throughout the film.
