How I made a 5 figure business during the first month of lockdown...

Covid-19 has been a blessing in disguise for me personally as it has given me the time I've always wanted to set up my own couple of small side hustles.

I am a person that always needs to be working on something or have some goals, I hate the thought of doing nothing which is probably why I have pushed myself outside my boundaries which I never knew I was capable of before.

I have always been a decent sales person. When I was working in Greece as a sports entertainer each one of us had to sell the 'animation t-shirts' once a week. This was very daunting at first having to go up to randomer's just trying to enjoy their holiday and persuade them to buy t-shirt for one of their children. I learned that building relationships first was the secret to selling the tshirts. I would entertain them and then follow up with the sales pitch which worked 85% of the time with the family and guests which I knew.

I quickly developed my sales skills and was selling about 30 t-shirts a day making 4 euro profit for each t-shirt, this doesn't sound like a lot but within a week I made more than my monthly wage working there !

Now during this lockdown I wanted to finally come up with my own business which would become profitable as I had no income at the time which is why I had so much motivation to build myself and focus on what I wanted to achieve.

I first started drop shipping this product and used some friends I knew who had a great following on instagram to promote this product in return for sending it out too them for free ! In the first day I made 80 euro profit and was ecstatic with how simple and easy this method of marketing called influencer marketing really was...Long story short the website soon got shutdown within the first week as It had exceeded a certain amount with pay pal and was very complicated to use this method of payment with the website I made.

2 days later I come up with an idea of selling a new product which I won't be revealing until a few months. Again I used influencer marketing to market my product and range which was extremely effective, within the first day of getting the page up and running I was generating roughly 10 customers a day 4/5 who would order. 2 weeks in and I'm generating about 20 customers a day 12 of them who are converting and now am in full swing with the business !!

I am extremely happy with the success it has brought as I have managed to pay off my student loan of 6k which would have durated 4 years so this has been a massive relief ! I also am treating my family to some bits but most importantly I am investing a lot of the money I make into certain assets !

I hope this success continues throughout summer as I am working hard at it each day and would be amazing if this turned into a year or 5 year business...
