I recently I tackled brief number 4 and am extremely happy with how it turned out.

We were assigned a brief for university and had to come up with and idea and incorporating a certain theme into a fragrance, doing extreme in depth secondary and primary research and analysing the fragrance market to provoke new ideas of what would work and opportunities to promote a range in such a populated market was not an easy task !

It was doing research where I came across my favourite brand ‘Replica’ this brand creates an exciting narrative to each fragrance by labelling each one with its very own unique time, place and setting which I love. It offers more than just a scent but a time or place where you have longed to recreate in your mind for some time !

I focused on the theme ‘Get Active’ and wanted to implement this theme into a fragrance but did not know where to start.

After a long of bran storming and insights I came to the idea of creating an app for phone similar to that of fitness apps today but the whole point of it would be for every 1km you ran, the virtual fragrance bottle would fill up by 1 ml. Once you reach 100km in a month of running you will be sent your very own unique fragrance bottle which had many benefits such as reduced anxiety and stress relieving so the whole concept and idea would tie into the ‘Get Active’ theme and found it extremely effective.

It was an idea that excited me and maybe will implement it into the near future after university.
