It has been a ver strange year for many students. As I am only in first-year it is not as severe in contrast to if I was in my final year at university where I think find this time period very difficult , not knowing when you will see any of your university friends again and being a bit lost in terms of what to do next where to go next and what your plans for the future would-be having to come back to Ireland wasn't the worst for me compared to a lot of people it got me to see my family again which was great and all my dogs which I love, I also got to catch up with some old friends and the weather has been amazing for once in Ireland which is a rare occasion.
At the start I was in good routine wish attending my online Microsoft team seminars but for some reason found it very un-motivating to do any work from home as I always think Think that the environment here in plays a big role a year work ethic trying to get out of bed and drag myself in to the desk was Battle of Demons some days haha !
All in all I think it could have been a lot worse for me therefore I am grateful to have had the chance to catch up with all the family and friends seeing on international students it wouldn't be as easy to do so if I was still in Nottingham.
I am looking forward to returning to Nottingham late of August to see all my friends but in the meantime I am really enjoying my time at home with the comfort of Irish tea and chocolate digestives !!
